Hello my friends, inspired by the recent Simon Says Stamp Create Together Holiday Collage Class with Tim and Heidi, I created a trio of mini shaker cards using the A2 cards, Idea-ology Christmas Baseboards and Transparencies, Layers + Paper Dolls, Christmas Ephemera, Christmas Layers Emporium and Christmas Sticker Book all included in the class kit. The kit has sold out but you can purchase some of the items from the kit either as a bundle or individually (linked below).
I trimmed the Schoolhouse Red, Sea Glass and Midnight Green A2 cards included in the kit to create single panels and selected an assortment of Christmas Layers and Ephemera from the packs included in the kit ready to decorate.I chose 3 frames and ephemera backgrounds and trimmed Christmas Transparencies to fit behind, fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.I fixed the background pieces of Ephemera to the centre of each panel.
I fixed the 3D foam strips included in the kit behind the aperture on the frames, sprinkled the NEW Snowfall Glitter carefully on to each background panel and pressed the frames into place on the panels.I added splatters around the edges of the panels using Dina Wakley White Gloss Spray. I inked the edges of the Christmas Ephemera using the Iced Spruce Mini Distress Ink, Tiny Blending Tool and Foams included in the kit and added to each panel using Distress Collage Medium and Thin Foam Squares also included in the kit. I wound the Simon Says Red/White Twine around the top of the Sea Glass Panel and tied in a bow. I added stickers and stars from the Idea-ology Christmas Sticker Book.To finish I fixed the panels to A2 top folding white card blanks and added Ranger Glossy Accents from the small bottle included in the kit to the holly berries and poinsettia centres. This was just the amazing value for money kit and I have so much left to play with. I have a sneaky feeling that you will be seeing lots more projects and cards made using this kit in the run up to Christmas 2025.
Hugs Kath xxx
