Crafts Beautiful Christmas Gifts...

Hi folks...crikey the weather is horrendous...is this rain ever going to stop...perhaps we should forget about all the Christmas prep and start building an ark...I feel heart sorry for anyone who's Christmas has been ruined because their house is flooded...what a nightmare...take care if you are travelling over Christmas...hitting deep water at speed can have horrendous consequences...so please be safe.
OK time to share the Christmas Gifts I made for Sizzix and the Crafts Beautiful Newsletter...the brief was to make Christmas Gifts using Sizzix dies in Christmas colours but not with a Christmas theme if you get my drift.  I loved this recycled felt bag that I found in Hobbycraft reduced in the sale and going for a song...wish now I'd bought one for myself...

a fabric and felt cushion...

and a cute owl keyring...perhaps I should make one for myself because I am always rooting around in the depths of my handbag looking for my house keys...
Can you believe tomorrow's Christmas Eve
Hugs Kath xxx

I really love your style - everything you do is so well done and and the finish is so good. I am in true admiration! Do you have the Fiskars Fuse yet? I wondered what it was like? Seasons Greetings to you. Hopefully I will find time to have some crafty time to myself to play.

Hi Kath, I just love the scotties on the bag and the design is fabulous. The owl is gorgeous too and such a great way to decorate boring keys too. I don't think there is much chance of an improvement in the weather, so you keep safe too. Hugs, Anne x

Kath you are super talented! I love all your sewn projects. Your bag is brilliant and so you. The cushion is stunning with the felt flowers and I love the text fabric looks like you stamped it! As for the cute owl you could have done a roaring trade in them for Christmas pressies

All the gifts are fab Kath - so need a key ring myself, will resolve to make one over Christmas. We are sending good wishes that you are NOT being flooded - just seen on TV news that they are evacuating some people in Aberdeenshire - hope you are on higher ground and we are heart sorry for all those whose homes and christmas festivities have been ruined by the horrendous weather. hugs Mary G xx

That bag looks great Kath. Love the cute doggies. It's my favourite but I love the cushion and keyring too. Lovely for gifts or just to keep.

We've got a lot of flooding on the roads and in the fields all round here. Some of the roads around here were so bad that a boat would have been handy to get to church this morning!

Can't wait to finish work tomorrow and get some wrapping done. Today was a chance to bake. Just need to ice my cake tomorrow.

Kat xx
