Hi folks...it looks like winter has arrived in the UK with a vengeance...second morning running I've been awakened from my cosy slumbers at silly o'clock by snowploughs and pavement gritters trying to get the roads cleared for all those unfortunate folks who have to do the daily commute...I remember it well and thank my lucky stars that nowadays it's just a hop skip and a jump to get to my cubbyhole workdesk.. I'm in a reminiscent frame of mind this morning...remembering the frustration of not being able to find the time to play along when "12 Tags" was a much anticipated once-a-year "making a tag every day" Christmas event but thanks to Tim changing it to a monthly format..I can always find an excuse to clear the decks ready to play along. It's been a fabulous year of
"12 Tags of 2012" inspiration from The Lord Of All Things Holtziness...can you believe we've arrived at December so soon...the bonus is...Tim has given us 2 tags this month to indulge our crafty passions....
Tim's Tags...
.here's my take on Tag 1...
Today I'm going to be in the kitchen in the company of Mr Buble baking the Christmas Cake or should I say Cakes...one for me and one for Christmas...after all the cook has to make sure it's up to the usual standard...looking forward to lots of cuppas and cake for the next week or so.
I'll be back tomorrow to share Tag 2.
Hugs Kath xxx

I love the snowman tag. Enjoy your baking - my favourite hobby. I have to tell you that here in Oxfordshire the sun is shining - cold but glorious. Perfect Jack Russell walking weather (Sorry about that!) X

Great snowman tag - very sparkly with lovely colouring! Hope your cake turned out well!!
ReplyDeleteLoving your snowman tag Kath, definitely as nice as Tim's.
ReplyDeleteHope your cake turns out well. I made mine on Sunday so it's all wrapped up ready to get marzipan and icing in a couple of weeks. I've made a gluten free one this year since my younger daughter is wheat intolerant. Means she can enjoy it too. At least I hope so!!
Kat xx
Great tags and great photos of all the detail.
