The Ribbon Girls December Challenge...

Hi folks from a cold snowy North East of Scotland...looks like we're in for a long winter but it would be magical to have a White Christmas...enough about the weather...there are far more important things happening today...the Colour and Challenge Design Teams from The Ribbon Girls are getting together for one big December Challenge and no prizes for guessing the theme...well it just had to be...
HO...HO...HO
or
A CHRISTMAS CARD
but I found myself itching to make some tags...now I'm sure you can guess what kick started that train of thought...and tags with stitched motifs no less so it was time to look out the needle and thread...

oops...that pearl is trying to do a runner...

the challenge will run until 16th December and there are fab prizes up for grabs...

and from our very generous friends at Lili Of The Valley
and a little birdie tells me there will also be some fabulous give-aways over the Christmas Holidays but in the meantime hop on over and check out the gorgeous Christmas inspiration from all The Ribbon Girls.
I'm intending having a lazy Sunday...chilling out on the sofa with The Furry Boy...giving my old brain a bit of a work-out with the Sunday crosswords and no doubt some coffee and cake to keep the energy levels topped up.  Have fun whatever you're doing and I'll see you all tomorrow for Monday's Monthly Ribbon Girl Give-Away.

  6. Hi Kath, with your luck best to stay inside today, don't want any more mishaps .

Love the tags, I was just thinking I need to make some tags, now I have bought a few Christmas prezzies.

The stitching and piercing is just brilliant. Did you use the machine or stitch them by hand.

    Stay warm.
    Big Hugs Carol x

  7. I love the stiched bauble - very clever and the rusty bells has given me an idea for a "bah humbug" card for a certain person I know. I'm staying in the warm this morning finishing another batch of 80 mince pies to freeze for the village hall Christmas lunch, then out in the cold for some carol singing at the primary school (outside) Brrrr. Enjoy your hugs with Buddy X
