No WOYWW for me...

Hi folks...I know it's Wednesday and normally I'd be popping over to visit Julia and all her cronies at WOYWW but the cubbyhole's still in top secret Sizzix/Hero Arts mode...if I were to share what's on my workdesk today...I would have to hunt you down and staple your lips so it's better for all concerned if I keep it under wraps...
I'm eating a great big slice of humble pie this morning...after ranting and raving about Mr Blogger not allowing me to leave comments...it turns out it was Mrs Numptie's fault...apparently I had blocked third-party cookies...yes I don't havea clue what that means either but once I'd unticked the relevant box...we're back in business...even my quick edit little pencil icon has returned. And just in case you're thinking I'm an IT techy and have a clue what all this is about....afraid not but I know a man who does over on the Blogger Help Forum. But I don't think he's going to be able to help with the next job of the day...I think I may have my work cut out trying to de-glue the pile of brushes from Sunday's fun and games at The Papeterie....
I did give them a quick rinse on the day but obviously not enough...they've now set solid and will need lots of warm soapy sud persuasion to bring them back to life...the old "couldn't be bothered" unpacking the workshop box has jumped up and bitten me on the bum again but seeing as I'm donning my "lady who lunches" hat today for a get away from all this crafty stuff meet up with a friend...it will be a killing 2 birds with one stone exercise cleaning up the mucky grungy nails at the same time.
I'll see you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  4. I also read somewhere that you can use vinegar to clean them. Leave the brushes to soak for 10 to 15 mins. I wouldn't do your hands though unless you want to go around all day smelling like your local chippie!!

  5. Hi Kath, can't wait to see the finished articles from your Hero Arts makes......hope you have a lovely lunch, I think it will be a well deserved break for you. I agree with Ann Rosie that vinegar should do the trick, they do need a few rinses afterwards. Crafty hugs, Anne x

PS - if you were to try the vinegar on your hands you could always have scampi & chips for lunch!

  9. Hi Kath, hope you had a nice lunch with your friend, it had been a thought to come back to clean up the brushes after that. Dying to see what you've done with your sissix beauties, the colours look really nice.
