The best laid plans...

Hi folks...the winter wonderland of snowy frosting has returned...the mornings may be getting lighter and Spring may well be on it's way but nobody's told our unpredictable Scottish weather proving that winter isn't quite ready yet to release us from it's icy grip...
and my plans for a crafty weekend went a little bit pear-shaped...those famous last words jumped up and bit me on the bum once again...no Timmie Tag today...it's on the back burner for the moment due to major adapt and overcome logistical problems...I had a sneaky feeling Tim would be using his new Blueprint Design stamps on this month's tag and was hoping that mine would have arrived by now but it's that sods law scenario...they are on route so hopefully they'll arrive in the next day or two. So there was no crafty stuff to share today and it was beginning to look a lot like my fellow cubbyhole crew member...that golden bundle of deliciousness would be joining you today to impart some of his words of wisdom until I stumbled across a file of cards that I haven't shared with you yet...some bright and zingy creations made for Sizzix way back in August...a little taster of the warmer sunny days to come.

while we impatiently wait for Mr Postie to ring the doorbell...I'm off to play with the new goodies that arrived in the cubbyhole as part of my "Christmas Present To Me" crafty spending spree but there are strings attached...the cubbyhole crew are throwing their toys out of the pram...apparently I've been challenged to turn over a new leaf...why don't you pop over tomorrow and see if I manage to stick to the rules or fall miserably at the first hurdle.
Hugs Kath xxx

  3. To think Kath you only live an hour up the coast from me your weather has been so different, we had a touch of frost ( like had to scrap the car windscreen ). But nothing like your photo. Your cards are great and the colours just make one think of warmer days.

Have a good crafty day. Hazel

  8. A thoroughly interesting collection - very zingy indeed. Wet here - we were supposed to be on leaf clearing duty but the weather men were WRONG about the fine weather!

  15. Gorgeous cards Kath, loving the zingy, summery colours.

Can't believe the snow in your garden! When we left on Saturday to go down to Crieff the sun was so bad I could hardly see. Sun visors aren't much help for short people like me!! Been ok here today too but I don't like the look of Monday's forecast.
