And the torture continues with the pile of new crafty toys sitting in the cubbyhole gathering dust...time for drastic measures...I wrote myself a sick note...skived off from the painting and headed for some rest and recreation in the cubbyhole to play with some gorgeous and cute Studio 12 stamps from my old buddy Mrs Nikky Nikky Noo Na or you might know her as Mrs Polkadoodles...the papers and flowers are from Craftwork Cards Macaroon Goodybox with a few Tim Holtz goodies thrown into the mix...
and as my energy levels fade from the lack of food...I've decided that another sick note day is required playing with this fabulous die which has been on my wish list for absolutely ages...sold out...sold out...sold out everywhere...until BINGO I finally got one...
That's cheered me up no end but I couldn't half murder a cuppa and 2 slices of toast spread with lashings of melting butter while I play.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteI hope you feel much better soon and the bug doesn't take too much out of you.
I managed to get one of these dies at the end of last week and the matching frame etc., I've been waiting for months for it to re-appear. I checked the next day and it was gone again. Phew! That was close!
Have fun when you feel a wee bit better, I can't wait to see what you make with it. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Kath. Sorry to hear you are not feeling well at the moment, I had what sounds like the exact same bug a couple of weeks ago. I felt fine also until I ate anything. Mine lasted about a week, so I hope you feel better very very soon. Gorgeous cards =) Em x

ReplyDeleteI love these home cards Kath, especially the one with the sentiment the "road to a friend's house is never long" - unless you are crawling along for over 3 hours on the M25 on bank holiday Saturday. Just arrived back from a gloriously sunny week-end with friends who live at the seaside in Kent. It seems such an appropiate thank you card to send them, I might just pinch the idea from you!So sorry to hear you are feeling grim - hope you are better soon.X
