and this "bull in a china shop/rush in where angels fear to tread" one woman construction crew is thanking her lucky stars that Tim shared a fabulous "how-to" video with invaluable hints and tips. Don't get excited just yet...at the rate I'm going...I suspect it may be end up being more of a hamlet than a village...
just a few bits and pieces to add before I can share tomorrow. And it's batten down the hatches time again...the North Wind shall blow and we shall have snow...Storm Clodagh is on her way...in the meantime I have the Christmas card marathon to finish and a magazine commission with a fast approaching deadline to concentrate on.
It's hard to believe it's the last day of November...tomorrow we'll be on Christmas Countdown for real but first I would like to wish my fellow Scots across the globe a very Happy St Andrews Day and hoop-de-doo...huge congratulations to Team GB and the Murray Brothers for their spectacular Davis Cup Win.

It's looking good. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHappy St Andrew's Day.
ReplyDeleteThe village peeks are looking good Kath.

Happy St Andrew's Day to you Kath! Perhaps we could take your hamlet and add it to my slow progress hamlet and make up a whole village! I love what you have done so far though, it looks amazing! I have finally made a start on my Christmas cards......! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kath
ReplyDeleteHappy St Andrew's Day and what a great result in the tennis...the Murray boys done good!
I love the house, Kath and the Christmas tree by the front door is too cute. It's amazing how you've managed to construct that from pieces of card, clever you :).
Time is marching on isn't it and I've still not done my cards although I'm feeling a little bit better today so I may be able to at least get the die cutter out. Still no voice...I spent an hour croaking at my sister on the phone yesterday and I dispelled the myth that a husky voice sounds sexy...she told me I just sounded rather ill lol. It's official though, that darned flu jab didn't work. Trust me to get a strain that doesn't care about this year's serum :(. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm feeling well enough in a couple of days to venture into town to get to the post office and woe betide anyone who re-infects me!!
Happy crafting everyone :)
Bejay xx

Some of us in the US that think Black Friday is crazy as well. I am doing pretty good at not accumulating more stuff - except in the craft department. That is not working so well.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love your houses. They look great. I like how everybody's house from these dies looks so different.
