A Spooky Tartan Trio...

Hi folks...when you take some left over from other projects Distress Oxide backgrounds, my current addiction for Plaid Design Tape, the need to make some Halloween cards for friends and put them altogether, hey presto you end up with a Spooky Tartan Trio...

with a Scottish Twist and a hint of glitter, quick to make and not too scary.

I die cut the background using the stars die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Witchcraft and stamped the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Monstrous with Black Archival.  I die cut the frame from black kraftstock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stitched Rectangles Thinlits, applied a coat of Collage Medium Matte and sprinkled with my favourite Distress Black Soot Glitter. I added my favourite Design Tape to the edges of a card and fixed the panel in place with 3D foam tape.

and a variation on the Scottish Tartan theme, I stamped the skull and stars from Tim Holtz Halloween Foam stamp set with Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint and used the "Wicked" die from Vintage Spirits cut from white and Black Soot Distress Glittered card, offset to create a drop shadow.
