Hooray - it's DieCember

Hi folks, I'm a little bit late joining in with the Simon Says Stamp DieCember party, a month long celebration of dies, one of our most favourite crafting products with lots of inspiration, education and fun along the way.
It's an amazing release with something for everyone and you can check all the DieCember products HERE. Simon Says very kindly sent me the Hooray Die to play with and who doesn't like a nice scripty sentiment die.
So, I created a shaker card celebrating DieCember but also another very important event that happens in December...of course, it's the event everyone is waiting for...Santa will be coming to town and if you've been good, he'll be popping down your chimney with his sack of gifts.
I trimmed a panel of SSS #120 Ultra White card to measure 4" x 5.1/4" and coloured lightly with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide using a mini round blending too, fading the colour out towards the bottom.
I used the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Trees Shifter Stencil from Set 37 with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide inks to decorate the panel.
I switched to a Distress Blending Brush to colour the tree trunks with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink, using a piece of copy paper to mask off the trees, starting at the bottom and working my way up.
I die cut an aperture in the panel using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Deckle Thinlits.
I fixed acetate to the back of the aperture, added Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive around the edges, added Distress Rock Candy Glitter and Lucy's Little Things Ice Crystal Sequin Mix and covered with paper from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Paper Stash.  I die-cut the same sized Stacked Deckle Thinlit from white card, trimmed around the edge to create a frame and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte.
I die-cut the Hooray sentiment and SSS Kate Snowflake from white card 5 times, layered to create dimension and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium Matte.

I added Lucy's Little Things Ice Crystal sequins and a sentiment strip cut from paper included in SSS December 2017 Card Kit.
I matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.
Happy Crafting
Toodle-oo for now
