STAMPtember 2020 - Simon Says - Because Of You

Hi my friends, I'm back to share another card using the Simon Says Stamp Because Of You stamp set from the STAMPtember 2020 release and you can check out all the fabulous products from this release HERE. And I couldn't resist using my favourite colour combination of Tim Holtz Distress Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo again.

Just like the previous card made with Because Of You, I attached the whole stamp set, still on it's cover sheet to the door of my Stamp Platform using a sheet of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Grid Sheet, inked the entire stamp with Versamark ink, stamped on to a 6.1/4" x 4.1/4" panel of Distress Watercolor card and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder. I added drops of Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide re-inkers to my glass media mat, spritzed the card with water and added the re-inkers using a Distress Detailer Brush letting the water on the card do the work of creating a watercolor background and added splatters of the two re-inkers. I fixed Tim Holtz/Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to Distress Watercolor card, die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Garden Green Thinlits and fixed to the panel.

I inked one of the sentiments from the stamp set with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink, stamped on to a scrap of vellum, sprinkled with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set. 

I tore around the edge of the vellum and fixed to the panel over the same stamped sentiment using Distress Collage Medium Matte which doesn't show through the vellum once it's dry. I added Idea-ology Bouquet Findings decorated with gems from my stash.

I matted the panel on to Distress Watercolor card coloured with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink by dragging the pad over the card and fixed to a 7" x 5" white card blank.
