Simon Says - Add Some Green

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
ADD SOME GREEN
I used touches of green to decorate the front of a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Collection Folio. I coloured a panel of White Yupo Paper with Alcohol Inks, applied Distress Crackle Texture Paste through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Flourish Layering Stencil, added Idea-ology Worn Wallpaper Scraps and Entomology Collage Paper and used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter 3D Texture Fade and Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers to create the title.

I coloured a 5" x 7" panel of White Yupo Paper with Pitch Black, Mushroom and Mojito Alcohol Inks using Alcohol Blending Solution and the Distress Blower to move the inks around until I was happy with the background.
I applied Distress Crackle Paste through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Flourish Layering Stencil
Once the texture paste had dried and the magical crackle had appeared, I fixed the panel to the front of the Idea-ology Small Collection Folio using Distress Collage Medium Matte and added torn strips of Idea-ology Entomology Collage Paper fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. Because I had applied the Crackle Texture on Yupo which is a non porous surface, I wasn't sure how well it would hold up so to prevent it flaking off I applied a coat of Distress Collage Medium over the entire surface.
I trimmed the flowers and leaves from one of the florals from Idea-ology Worn Wallpaper Scraps and shaped using the mat and tools from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Shaping Kit.
I embossed Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter 3D Texture Fade, sprayed with Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and dried. I sanded the letters and trimmed to create individual letter tiles.
I fixed the letters in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte and tucked the left overs into a polybag to use for another project.
I fixed the Worn Wallpaper Scraps flowers and leaves in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte, added a generous blob of Distress Collage Medium in the centre of the flower, sprinkled with beads from Sizzix Green Tree Beads and Sequins Tower and left overnight to dry.
I added Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers to complete the title
