Hello my friends, I'm sharing another card made using products from the fabulous Simon Says Stamp - Captured Joy June 2025 card kit. The kit is still available to purchase at time of writing and you can check it out, subscribe if you don't already or purchase individual items from the kit HERE.
I used the Modern Scrapbook 6" x 8" stamp set with the co-ordinating dies, Simple Stories Vintage Flower Shoppe 6" x 8" Paper Pad and Rub-ons along with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photobooth.I used the square die from the Modern Scrapbook co-ordinating dies to cut apertures on a panel of Distress Watercolor card. I lined up the photo slider image with the aperture and stamped, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. (I found that die-cutting the aperture first made it much easier to line up the stamp correctly over the apertures.I used Scorched Timber Distress Ink and a Tiny Blending Tool to add some subtle colour to the photo slides. I fixed a photo from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology New Photobooth and a scrap of Simple Stories Vintage Flower Shoppe paper behind the photo slides.I trimmed Simple Stories Vintage Flower Shoppe paper to 4" x 5.1/4", shaded the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool and fixed to an A2 white card blank with Distress Collage Medium. I added Simple Stories Vintage Flower Shoppe Rub-ons to the background and one of the photo slides.I stamped the flowers, leaves and washi tape strips from the Modern Scrapbook stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Simon Says Carnation, Peony, Bubblegum and Artichoke Pawsitively Saturated Mini Ink Cubes and used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp the flower centres.I fixed the photoslides in place with Distress Collage Medium and added the die-cut flowers popped up on Simon Says Thin Foam Squares and the leaves and washi tape strips fixed with Distress Collage Medium. To finish I added the stamped and die-cut sentiments popped up on Simon Says Thin Foam Squares to create dimension.
I'll be back soon to share more makes but in the meantime, I've been spending lots of time in my outdoors happy place planting up pots and generally just enjoying been out in the fresh air with the birds and the bumble bees.

ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, Follow It is a genuine e-mail subcription site, unfortunately you see the annoying ads, the alternative could be to add my blog URL to your favourites and thank you for your kind words xxx
