Simon Says - Add Some Texture

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the team feature one particular brand or company and this month we are all using the fabulous products from AALL&Create. You don't have to use their products to join in the challenge but if you have them in your stash, we would love to see how you use them.
We are also welcoming back Cassie Lynch as our Designer In the Spotlight and if you haven't visited Cassie's Instagram page before, please pop over and say hello, you will be in for a real treat.
The theme for this week is...
ADD SOME TEXTURE
I created an Art Journal page in my Stamperia Stone Paper Mixed Media Journal using AALL&Create Nebula Nexus and Heapza Hexagonz Stencils, Grit & Grace Rub-ons, Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches Wafer dies, Be Your Beautiful Self stamps and dies and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking and Grain background stamp.
I applied a wash of Kitsch Flamingo and Dusty Concord Distress Paints over the pages using a baby wipe and dried. I applied Villainous Potion Distress Oxide through the Nebula Nexus stencil randomly over the background using a Distress Mini Round Blending Tool.
I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through the same stencil and set aside to dry.
I inked Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking Background stamp with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink and holding the stamp in my hands, stamped randomly over the background.
I die-cut a frame from Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches and stamped using the same Ticking Background stamp, stamping vertically and horizontally to create a plaid effect.
I added an image to the centre section die-cut using the sheet of florals from the AALL&Create Grit & Grace A5 Rub-Ons pack and fixed inside the frame.
I added Rub-Ons from the second sheet in the pack randomly over the background.
I applied Distress Black Texture Paste through the AALL&Create Heapza Hexagonz Stencil to add extra texture to the background.
I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Be Your Beautiful stamp set on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, die-cut with the co-ordinating dies and fixed to the frame with Distress Collage Medium. I fixed the frame to the page using Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares to add dimension.
