Simon Says - Spritz and Splatter

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

SPRITZ AND SPLATTER

I used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Hearts Layering Stencil, Love Notes stamp set, Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Spray and Frayed Burlap Distress Spritz, Simon Says Stamp Lace Hearts, Fancy Love and Ornamental Fine Leaves Wafer Dies to create Love themed shaker cards.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to create 2 - 3.3/4" x 5" panels, spritzed Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Spray through the panel on the left, flipped the stencil over, spritzed with water, pressed on to the panel on the right and dried both panels.

I used Simon Says Stamp Lace Heart wafer dies to create frames die-cut from Distress Watercolor card.

I used the smaller heart die to cut apertures from the panels.

I inked the edges of the heart frames with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool, fixed the frames in place with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Glue, added splatters of Frayed Burlap Distress Spritz and fixed acetate behind the apertures.

I stamped the sentiments and hearts from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Love Notes, inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink on to A2 panels of Distress Watercolor card.

I used GinaK Shaker Strips to create a heart shaped well, added Simon Says Stamp Tidal Wave Embellishment Mix, Trinity Stamps Creamy Vanilla Heart Sprinkles and Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter and fixed the top panel in place.

I die-cut Simon Says Stamp Fancy Love from Distress Watercolor card, shaded the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink and fixed in place with Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares. I die-cut Simon Says Stamp Fruitful Berries from Distress Watercolor card, coloured with Candied Apple, Tumbled Glass and Pine Needles Distress Oxide inks using Detail Round Blending Brushes and fixed to the panels. (The Fruitful Berries dies seem to be discontinued so I have linked an alternative below)

I added Trinity Stamps Candy Apple Heart Sprinkles and matted the panels on to an A2 white card blanks.

To finish I added White Hemp Twine bows to the top of the heart frames.
