Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp - Correspondence

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another project using one of the recently released die sets from Simon Says Stamp that co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets

I created a vintage shabby chic card using the Correspondence stamps and dies from the latest release along with French Garden, a previous release from Tim Holtz and Simon Says Stamp and the envelope die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Postale Thinlits.
I began by trimming Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Correspondence paper from my stash to measure 4" x 5.1/4" and stamped the images from Correspondence inked with Barn Door and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks. I shaded around the edges with Gathered Twigs using a Mini Round Blending Tool, added water splatters and dried.
I die-cut the envelope from white cardstock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Postale Thinlits and coloured lightly with Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks, scored, folded and assembled. I stamped the same image that I used on the background panel, not very successfully as it happens but nothing that can't be hidden behind some die-cut elements.
I stamped the leaf and berry sprig from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous French Garden on to Distress Watercolor card inked with Speckled Egg, Barn Door and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks and die-cut using the co-ordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp.
I stamped the images from Correspondence on to Distress Watercolor card coloured with Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks, inked with Ground Espresso and Barn Door Distress Archival inks and die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp co-ordinating dies.
I fixed the French Garden leaves and berries die-cuts in place with Distress Collage Medium, added the envelope, fixed the Correspondence die-cuts to the background and tucked inside the envelope. To finish I matted the panel on to a 5" x 6.1/4" white card blank and stamped the small number images randomly on the background and envelope, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink.

Have fun with whatever you are creating.
Hugs Kath xxx
