Fun with Fiskars...

Hi folks...I had a fabulous girlie fun day out on Friday ...Life of Pi is well worth going to see...such a beautiful story with spectacular 3D technical wizardry...cinema magic at it's most magical. I fell in love with the gorgeous Charlie Parker who if you haven't seen the film or read the book is an enormous Bengal Tiger who loves to show off his teeth at every opportunity...followed by a yummy lunch accompanied by lots of chat and laughter. There's nothing quite like spending time with friends to lift the spirits and knowing that we will be doing it all over again this coming Friday spurred me on to getting back to the Fiskars sample production line.
But hey it's not all work...I did manage to sneak in a couple of "nothing to do with the brief" cards which I'll be sharing over at the Fiskarettes blog using the AdvantEdge super size (2.75") borders...

Flower Garden which is included in the AdvantEdge Punch Starter Set

and a simple Thank You Card using "All a Glow"

I'm skiving off again today to visit the grandkiddies but I'll be back in the cubbyhole tomorrow for January's Monday Monthly Ribbon Girl Give-Away.
Hugs Kath xxx

Two great cards, especially love that butterfly stamp.

Love the nod to the traditional Christmas colours in the second one with that little bit of minty green twine. It's those little things that really make a difference.
