I'm back with a BANG....

Morning folks...it looks like I'm back in the crafty mood again ..a few days off seems to have done the trick or was it the kick up the butt and the good talking to from Mr Mojo or could it have been the arrival of some new goodies that kick started the crafty juices again...whatever...I now have a paint brush in hand and am itching to get back into the cubbyhole...never happier than when I am up to my elbows in mucky stuff and paint certainly falls into the mucky category. It looks like this Altered Art thing could be the new Cubbyhole Addiction.
I've been bouncing ideas around for my Altered Art Class at Simply Create on the 25th June....not sure how many places are left folks so if you want to join me for an afternoon of painty fun...ring 019755 64010 to guarantee your bum on one of those seats.
Have I told you how much I love these gorgeous Annie Sloan Chalk Paints...they are just so yummy and easy to apply and having taught ceramic painting for donkey's years...I know a good quality paint when I see it.  It was great fun giving this "Cheap as Chips" Paper Mache Box and Accordion Book a bit of a make-over and if I say so myself...it's turned into a teeny weeny mini work of art.
And that's the problem with an addiction....once it takes hold you just can't get enough of it....so I headed off to Simply Create yesterday to pick up some supplies for my class and woohoo the cubbyhole is now bursting at the seams with lots of bits and pieces....all waiting to be ALTERED....
these boxes are for me....perfect for storing all my Lord Timmie of All Things Holtziness bits and bobs...can't wait to get that brush loaded up and get painting....
Mind you it's not going to be easy staying cooped up in the cubbyhole now that Summer's back.....
26 degrees here yesterday....absolutely glorious so I intend to enjoy it while I can ...having the best of both worlds by flitting in and out for lots of coffee breaks and that's the advantage of being your own Boss....nobody to say "what doest thou".  Catch up with you all tomorrow over at Penny Black Saturday for another fab challenge and yummy prizes and whatever you're doing today....enjoy.

    Oh now THAT'S an idea Ursula . . . an online class! Mind you, t'internet would probably crash there'd be so many people wanting to do one of Kath's classes.

    Just look at that flower - looks like it's going to be fun in the Cubbyhole & Buddy might be getting painty paws. I'm on roof duty (husband falling off watch - whilst he demosses it) though how a tiny less than 5ft & 7stone me is going to rescue a 6ft 4in wiry giant from the roof if anything happens is beyond me......
