Am I excited....OH YES....

Morning everyone...can I just say a big thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterday's tutorial post...I hope I've tempted you to have a go at a bit of Altered Art and would love you to share your creations with me.  In answer to the folks who e-mailed....yes acrylic paint would work too and for Linda...HERE is a list of Annie Sloan stockists in the US.
What am I up today....well it would be fair to say that the cubbyhole crew are in Mega Excited mode...my DT Project of the Month Sweet Meadow Kit arrived from Craftwork Cards and I am absolutely drooling...the embossed washed papers are just gorgeous and have you heard the fabulous news...Craftwork Cards have been invited to join Spellbinders in their Cross Promotional Partnership...you can read all about it HERE...I am mucho mucho super duper excited...the design team parcels of dies and Craftwork Card goodies are in the mail and oh boy I wish I wasn't so impatient...can't stand the suspense...my crafty fingers are itching at the thought...I fear I may be stalking Mr Postie Man until it arrives....WOOHOO.
But I need to calm down and get on with the job in hand...would you believe I am kitting for my "Have Fun With Acetate" Class at The Papeterie tomorrow....yes I know what you're thinking...I'm doing my usual skidding in by the seat of my pants and sailing a bit close to the wind again but blame it on Fiskars and last minute projects popping into my Inbox on Tuesday...one to go off in the mail yesterday and on this occasion the "back up against the wall" syndrome didn't work...it took me a whole day to nail it so I'm desperately playing catch up.  Perhaps I should call on The Furry Boy to help out....
perhaps not...it seems he is taking his Sleeping Partner role a little too literally and no point in disturbing him while he's in "guarding the entrance to the cubbyhole" mode.

And on the subject of Fiskars...it's time to announce the winner of my little Give-Away....

Well I'm off to put the kettle on and knock the kitting on the head and then get the post done for tomorrow's challenge over at Penny Black Saturday and it's a very special day for PBSC so we hope you can pop over and join in the celebrations and woohoo lots of fabulous prizes up for grabs but before I go a little sneaky peek...

    am definitely gonna give the altered box a go - as soon as I get time to do anything
    next year I am gonna clear my schedule for the whole of June, no point in doing anything except running after the kids in this manic month

    Good heavens . . . it's all go go go in the Cubbyhole . . . except for Buddy of course! You call that GUARDING the Cubbyhole do you Buddy? I call it sleeping on the job, frankly!

    Oh really? You were just checking out the inside of your eye lids and your Mum happened to take a photo? Honestly???

    I've tried suggesting to my husband that we move north.........but he's not keen........... so I'm not going to be able to help you unpack & test those Spellbinders dies...........
