But back to the class...playing and having lots of fun with Alcohol Inks...Acetate...Timmie stamps and stuff....how come I was the only one who got mucky despite the fact I wasn't making the cards....
and here's some I made earlier
Tim Holtz Alterations....Tattered Florals
coloured with Alcohol Inks....Aqua/Stonewashed
Text &Sentiment....Stampers Anonymous...Tim Holtz Collection...Shabby French
Tim Holtz Idea-ology...Metal Foliage
Background....Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection....Papillon
stamped with Distress Ink...Vintage Photo
Hero Arts...Antique Engravings coloured with Alcohol Inks....
Aqua/Stonewashed and Caramel
and didn't they do well....gold stars all round...
Looks like it's going to be another flying by the seat of my pants week...the crafty list is never ending but hey what's new....today I have a Fiskars Project to do with a Christmas theme...perhaps I should put on a Christmas CD...get The Furry Boy to don his Santa hat to get us in Snowflake mode. Off to put the kettle on..look out the Fiskras goodies and it's Jingle Bells..Jingle Bells...Jingle All the Way.
And woohoo the box of Candi And Spellbinder Heaven from Craftwork Cards was waiting for me in the cubbyhole when I arrived home on Saturday...
but that's not the only incentive to nail the Christmas Project PDQ...Wimbledon starts today and Rafa is on Centre Court at lunchtime. I'll see you all tomorrow to share more cards from my bundle of yumminess from The Ribbon Girl.
Hugs Kath xxx
Thank you for Saturday. I learnt such a lot and have been playing with acetate none stop. What is the glue we used as the stuff I have is just not working. I will have a singalong with the cd I am making Christmas presents. Looking forward to the next class. Sx

Looks like you had an amazing time. And my goodness - better not chew your way through all that Candi or you'll be feeling pretty sick! Looks like you're going to have great fun with all those colours - do you need someone to come & sort them into colour families?

It's very rare for me to not like one of your cards Kath. And this time you've blown me away! I ADORE the first card in your post. It's so fresh and clean looking (unlike your dirty mitts! LOL!). I own loads of Fiskars products so can't wait to see what they've brought out now.
