I've Been Thinking...

Morning folks...with no more demos or workshops until after the New Year and the DT stuff coming along nicely...life in the cubbyhole is now ticking over at a snail's pace.  Instead of enjoying the leisurely life of no frantic mad deadlines and such like...I've been thinking...which can lead to dangerous situations...but that's what happens when you have too much time on your hands...that the cubbyhole needs a huge clear out...a move around or even a complete make over...HAVE I GONE COMPLETELY INSANE...GET A GRIP WOMAN...Christmas is only 4 weeks away. But you know what it's like when us girls get a bee in our bonnets..hubby and The Furry Boy are already in eye rolling mode and ready to head for the hills at the first sign of any major upheavals. So I need a diversion...perhaps I could decorate the tree and be the talk of the neighbourhood...hit the shops now and get all those pressies bought...wrapped and ready to plonk under said decorated tree...go on a mad Christmas Cook-a-thon filling the fridge and freezer with enough grub to feed an army or the most likely scenario...put on the Christmas Big Girl Knickers and get stuck into that job that I normally put off until the very last minute...writing all those Christmas Cards. Isn't Christmas all about running about like a headless chicken at the last minute...is it really going to be the same if I'm all done and dusted weeks before the big day.
While I wrestle with my crafting demons...I'll leave you with another card for this month's colour challenge over at The Ribbon Girls...

Kraft Card Circles punched with Fiskars Circle Punch

Catch up with you all tomorrow over at Julia's place....WOYWW and woohoo tomorrow is a mega special day for one of my very special buddies.

  12. That button tree is a beauty. Why don't I join you in the big girl knickers (my own of course) mode & we tackle the Christmas Card list?? Re-arranging stash I've definitely had enough of - don't even go there.
