Secret Garden

Morning folks...Happy Thanksgiving to all our lovely crafting cousins in the USA....hope you have a special holiday time with family and friends and if you are hitting the Black Friday sales tomorrow...stick those elbows out and good luck.  I can't believe it's a year since I was having the best time in New York and freezing my butt off watching Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Wonderful memories of the greatest city in the world.
But back to reality and time to share some cards I made with the latest collection of goodies from Craftwork Cards...I was definitely in ooing and aaahing mode when the Secret Garden Project Of The Month Kit landed in the cubbyhole...choc-a bloc as always with gorgeous papers...some of them glittered...fabulous toppers to colour in...tags and sentiments and not forgetting matching Candi and all in beautiful pastel sorbet colours...a breath of fresh air and a welcome change from everything Christmas.

no special colouring techniques here....just inked up a piece of Cut and Dry with Broken China Distress Ink and went for it. The basket was coloured with Brushed Corduroy and shaded with Vintage Photo using a water brush

the flowers were coloured with Brushed Corduory and a Water Brush..tres simples
a desk calendar for the cubbyhole...
 coloured using Flexmarkers

And I'm not finished yet....lots more yummy stuff in the kit to play with...so I'll be back with more Secret Garden projects next week...see you all tomorrow for Sneaky Peek Friday.
Hugs Kath xxx
