What's On My Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks...after a weekend of gallivanting...visiting grandkiddies and a lunch day out on Monday...I've got to knuckle down and get back to work.  And of course it's Wednesday...the day of the week when we all throw open our craft room doors and let the world and his wife in for a nose around....aka WOYWW.  The weather here has been a bit pants lately...dark dreary and dismal so it's not such a chore to be stuck in the cubbyhole with lots of DT stuff to do and I have a sneaky feeling that with the wind now blowing cold down from the Arctic we might even have a flurry or two of snow before too long.  A great excuse to stay indoors and get creative with the piles of stuff on my workdesk and here's what's going to keep me out of mischief for quite some time...

yummy Craftwork Cards Project Of the Month Kits...Shabby Vintage and Secret Garden
and gorgeous Metallique Papers...
but first I need to finish off the cards for the brand new colour challenge on the 20th over at The Ribbon Girls
It's a wee bit early for our morning stroll considering it's still pitch black outside and my Furry Alarm Clock is still snuggled up snoring his head off and dreaming dreams of whatever dogs dream about. And something that's been bothering me ever since the clocks changed...why am I still up and about at my usual 6 o'clock ish but The Furry Boy has now taken to sleeping until 7.00am...has his body clock gone haywire or is he getting in practice for a bit of winter hibernation...time to put the kettle on...grab a cuppa and enjoy the peace and quiet (apart from the snoring that is).
Catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  3. We ventured into the back garden yesterday and my little fella bounced a couple of times on his bouncy thingy and then declared it to be 'a bit chilly mummy' and we proceeded back inside!

  10. My little boy is getting up later still at the moment - I now quite miss him being up at 5.30 as I used to have a quick crafty hour then! Have fun with the DT stuff - it is lovely when the colder weather gets here and we can snuggle up inside with our stash isnt it! Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Sunshine Girl – No 34

  12. I like the look of that jar....... nip in the air down here too; the vest has come out & we're going in search of an extra warm duvet on the next trip to Cardiff. Feels as if the fluffy white stuff isn't far away. Hope you got that stroll in before it was mid-morning!

  13. Hi Kath, such a pleasure to see Buddy's pics on your header each week. I'd say the dark mornings are fooling him into sleeping longer. It's definitely parky down here in Ayr, zero degrees on the patio this morning and a touch of frost shimmering in the garden. Looks as though you have some fun projects and a busy week lined up - look forward to seeing the results. Elizabeth x #78

Not sure if my boys have got used to the clock change yet either lol! Can't believe that we'll have had them a year on Sunday and yesterday was a year since we lost Maddy. Time flies.

  23. For being # 1 this week, I'm awfully late visiting. I'm so sorry but, after a computer crash, I had to stop by and get a bit of inspiration from you and Buddy. I have a snoring cat about now. I can relate, and love all the goodies and ribbon you have on your desk.
