Monthly Monday Ribbon Girl Give-Away

Hi folks...crikey it's the first Monday of the month again and time for my Ribbon Girl Give-Away...thanks once again to the lovely Mary & Andrea for this gorgeous bundle of deliciousness which could be popping through your letterbox soon...perfect for bringing a little bit of Christmas fabulousness to your projects...
all you have to do is leave your name with Inlinkz below before Sunday 11th November 8pm and I'll announce the lucky winner of Monday.
And it's happy happy Monday in the cubbyhole...my parcel of Wool Felt has arrived from The Ribbon Girl...ordered Friday...arrived Saturday...how's that for super duper speedy service...how could I resist grabbing some bargains when a little birdie told me there was a SALE...
stocking up on gorgeous Wool Felt in all colours of the rainbow...
it's beautiful quality and cuts like a dream with the BigZ dies and can be hand or machine stitched and check out these cute little zips...
so if you love a bargain too...dash over and fill your basket before they're all gone and while you're there you can check out lots of new tempting goodies...loving Andrea's Rustic Selection especially the Rustic Jingly Bells...perfect for a Tim Holtz Grungy Vintagey Christmas Project...

And oh joy...it's Bonfire Night...I'm crossing my fingers that it's a night of horrendous torrential rain...keeping the idiot Firework brigade indoors or I'll be in for a Furry Boy Meltdown kind of a night. It's best to ignore your dog when he goes into panic mode...trying to reassure him by speaking or stroking will only reinforce the message in his mind that it's OK to be frightened but that's easier said than done when 5 stone of Golden Retriever is perched on your  lap...has you pinned to the sofa and is demanding a snuggle. I can't understand why...in this "can't move without permission" Health & Safety gone mad world we live in (I once had a teeny weeny safety pin that was nestling in my "everything but the kitchen sink" handbag confiscated at airport security) but yet they still allow the sale of what is at the end of the day...a dangerous explosive device...crazy crazy.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. I do hope there's torrential rain too - the creatures really could do without these nasty explosive devices. Besides, I thought that there's a recession going on - why burn money?
OK - off my soap box. Have a brilliant week & give Buddy an extra special stroke from me.

  2. Good luck to you & Buddy. Firecrackers are banned here in Australia for the most part. You can only let them off on one day in the Northern Territory. I hope you both survive xoxoxo

  6. Hi Kath, beautiful colours with th felt, but now I'm wondering what's happening with all that zips. I wasn't keen on sqibs as a kid, I couldn't hold a sparkler without a glove on my hand. I hate to pick up my paper next day and read of all the accidents, they could all be avoided if the shops didn't sell the fireworks....Trish

  7. Hi Kath, what gorgeous goodies from the Ribbon Girls, loving those rustic bells too. I am with you on the fireworks - hate them. We don't have pets at the moment but I can still remember how terrified they used to be... Crafty hugs to you and Buddy, Anne x

  14. We're lucky here to be far away from any possible fireworks so no chance of the boys getting upset. Don't think you would hear anything in here anyway. Hope you don't have too bad a night with Buddy.

Looking forward to seeing what you make with the wool felt.

    Kat xx
