I've never had a Thinlits die break on me before but this poor chap has done more than his fair share of die-cutting for workshop kits so I suppose it's the law of averages thing but all is not lost...Mrs Adapt and Overcome managed to save the day...with a little bit of care I lined up the two sections and applied a Washi Tape plaster and hey...a bit of a faff but there's lots of life left in this die yet...
And talking of adapt and overcome...big thank yous to a very special buddy who sent me some Zombie die cuts and rescued me from a "didn't have a clue how I was going to get out of this one" attempt at this month's "12 Tags of 2015"
and the bestest news of all...yeeehaaa...I'm rejoining the Dream Design Team at Inspiration Emporium in November...the idea of cutting back on the work stuff has not had the desired effect...in fact Mr Mojo had a hissy fit and high tailed it out of here in disgust. It seems I need deadlines and a routine of some sort to kick start the creative brain cells...the more time I have on my hands...the less I do...so this old crafty girl is back in the DT swing and looking forward to joining my fabulous team mates again to share some IE inspiration.
So what's on the crafty list today...a tag or will we dive headlong into everything Christmas.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
Gosh that poor die must be exhausted Kath, well done for the fix! I struggled with Tim's tag this month but also found a way around it by thinking outside the box! Good news that you are rejoining IE...I have huge problems trying to view their blog....it won't link from their shop site and google rarely finds it??Does anyone else have these issues? Enjoy your day xx
ReplyDeleteOh dear, the poor die... I have never had that happen either but well done on the adapt and overcome Kath! I am sure you will have lots of fun with the Zombie!
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you are back with Inspiration Emporium Kath, I look forward to seeing all your wonderful makes for them - woohoo!! Jane is right, the IE blog website has been down for a few days but it is probably just a 'technical hitch'...
Hugs, Anne xx
Wow, never seen that happen but great tip Kath for repairing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your play with the zombies - I'm sure you will come up with something fabulous.

I'm glad you managed to get some more life out of the die Kath. I've never had one break either, but then, I don't do anywhere *near* the die-cutting you do!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with for the tag. I'm still completely stumped!
And I have the same problem as you. The more DTs I am on, the more productive I seem to be, and lack of deadlines also means lack of mojo. Glad to know there will be more gorgeous projects to look forward to. x
An overworked die resurrected!!!! What are you like Kath xx great to hear you are back with the IE team and I look forward to viewing your wonderful projects
ReplyDeleteHugs Annie x
How lovely that you're returning to I.E.... and good work on resurrecting your die!
