Hi everyone...the step by step instructions are done and the cubbyhole crew are back to tackling the crafty list...can't believe it's less than a week until I leave for Birmingham so while I crack on with what I need to get done before then...I'm sharing the first project from the Christmas With A Twist workshops at The Papeterie on Saturday. We had great fun creating our 3D Sleigh Christmas decoration using Tim's Sizzix BigZ dies...Sleigh and Prancing Deer cut from chipboard. We started off by painting the die cuts and then it was time to test our construction skills and the sticking power of Glossy accents...
before we moved on to the fun bit...slapping on the Texture Paste...sprinkling the glitter...adding some greenery...cones and pearls with a little bit of stamping thrown in for good measure...
and here's the finished article...
I'll be back tomorrow to share what we made after lunch

Absolutely gorgeous Kath, I loved making these for our table last year but without the benefit of the 3D die (nightmare) but yours looks so much more beautiful filled with gorgeous pine cones and texture - LOVE it and what a wonderful piece to make in class too - your classes really are the best! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteHi, Kath,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project! I've never done any 3D work but every time I see your wonderful creations I tell myself that I really MUST have a try, it must be so rewarding to see the end result. I'll bet all your students really enjoyed their weekend, especially having something so wonderful to take home with them at the end of the sessions.
