AALL& Create - Be Your Amazing Self

Hi folks, it's Tuesday and time to share this week's Guest Designer project for AALL&Create. I decided to work in my Dina Wakley 6" x 6" White Media Journal and create an Art Journal page with lots of white space using 2 very beautiful but very different floral stamp sets #195 Flowers and Gears designed by Olga Heldwein and #207 Botanicals Modified designed by Bipasha BK.

I die-cut 2 different sized circles from masking paper and fixed to the pages.
I inked the gears image from #195 Flowers and Gears with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and then randomly added Mermaid Lagoon and Ripe Persimmon, spritzed with water and stamped on the pages.
I used Ranger Cut 'n Dry with Peacock Feathers to create halos around the masked circles, working from the centre outwards.
I removed 2 of the masks and stamped the smaller gears image inked with the same 3 colours as before.
I inked the number at the top of the Botanicals Modified stamp with Peacock Feathers and stamped randomly on the background. I stamped the sentiment and poppy image from the stamp set inked with Versafine Onyx Black and coloured the flowers and numbers with Ripe Persimmon diluted with water. I used the remaining ink, diluted with water to create areas of colour around the edges of the left hand page.
I stamped the Poppy image and sentiment from Flowers and Gears inked with Versafine Onyx Black on the opposite page
coloured the flowers and number as before to create balance between the pages and added splatters of the Ripe Persimmon ink on both pages.
