Simon Says - Love You More

Hello my friends, I'm slowly getting back in the crafting groove and found some time to play with products from Simon Says Stamp latest release - To Be Loved. You can check out all the fabulous products from this release, ready for your Valentine makes, HERE.

I created a top-folding A2 card using the Groovy Love You More Wafer dies, Funky Hearts set of 4 stencils from the To Be Loved release along with the Cosmos Duo Wafer Dies and Everyday EZ Strips from previous releases.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4", placed on Simon Says Pawsitively Perfect Craft Mat,  laid the first of the 4 Funky Hearts Stencils on top and applied Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool. I repeated using the second stencil with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink. I used Stencils 3 and 4 to colour the hearts using the same colours but with a heavier application. I flicked water on to the background from a Distress Sprayer bottle and dried.
I die-cut the shadow from the panel using Simon Says - Groovy Love You More.
I fixed the panel to a top-folding A2 white card blank, die-cut the Groovy Love You More words 3 times from Distress Watercolor card and layered to create dimension. I coloured the top layer with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink and fixed into the negative space with Distress Collage Medium.
I die-cut Simon Says Cosmos Duo from Distress Watercolor card and added shading with Scorched Timber and Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink applied with Simon Says Round Detail Blending Brushes.
I trimmed the additional sentiment from Everyday EZ strips (there are co-ordinating dies but I don't have them yet - linked below) and used a Memento Black Marker to darken the edges.
I fixed the flowers and the sentiment to the panel popped up on Simon Says Thin 3D foam squares and added Trinity Stamps Creamy Vanilla Heart Sprinkles, fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I'll be back soon to share more makes with the Be Loved release, in the meantime, have fun with whatever you are creating.
Hugs Kath xxx
