Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card using the Simon Says Stamp dies that co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things and Scribbly Christmas stamp sets.
I created a shaker card using the Holiday Things and Scribbly Christmas stamp sets and dies along with Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches dies.I trimmed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas 2025 Backdrops paper to 4" x 6", stamped the snowflake from the Holiday Things stamp set, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.I die-cut the shaker frame from Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches dies, coloured lightly by dragging an Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink pad lightly over the surface. I fixed the arched die-cut temporarily over the panel, re-stamped and embossed the snowflakes.
I added Gina K Gold Mini Pearl Embellishments to the centres of the snowflakes and fixed the panel to a white card blank. To finish I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries on the die-cuts.I die-cut the shaker frame again 4 times and stacked to create dimension.
I coloured the images from the Holiday Things stamp set with Distress Watercolor Pencils from Sets 4 and 5, spritzed with water and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card.I die-cut the stamped images using the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Things co-ordinating set of dies.
I fixed 2 of the Holiday Things die-cut trees to the background panel, added the stacked arch die-cuts to the panel with Distress Collage Medium and added Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter. I fixed acetate to the back of the decorated arch die-cut, trimmed off the excess and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Redline tape to create the dimensional shaker element. I added splatters of Dina Wakley White Gloss Spray and fixed the Holiday Things die-cuts in place on the front of the shaker panel with Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares.I stamped the sentiment from Scribbly Christmas on to a scrap of the Christmas 2025 Backdrops paper, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp co-ordinating sentiment die. I die-cut again 4 times from Distress Watercolor card, stacked to create dimension and fixed to the frame with Distress Collage Medium.Have fun with whatever you're making.
Hugs Kath xxx
