Time for another sketch on 2 Sketches 4 You and this week it's from Laura and although I am snowed under with commission cards..I just can't miss this challenge....I am so addicted. This is the first week of the new Winter Design Team and what a team.....fabulous cards...I think we are going to be in for a real treat of the over the coming months.
I decided to flip the sketch and I'm afraid after making so many Christmas cards....my inspiration has kinda got up and left....hopefully to return sometime in the future and I just couldn't get a good pic of this card....I hate this time of year....dark and dismal days with low quality light...roll on proper winter days...at least when there is snow on the ground....the light is better.
- Papers: Sandylion "Embossed Snowflakes"
- Coredinations
- Snowflakes: Crafty Bitz
- Christmas Alphabet: Adorn It Tiny Natural Etched
- Dreams: Hero Arts Alphabet Stamp Set
- Gems from my stash
Well that's all for today folks.......off to bed..tomorrow is another day.....and yes you've guessed....back to the christmas cards........Love Kath xxxxxx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Kath! Great take on this week sketch.I love the distressed snow flakes.
ReplyDeleteThose snowflakes are incredibly pretty and I really liked how you turned the sketch and gave it a whole new feel. The scallops across the bottom are a very nice touch.
ReplyDeleteGreat job.
P.S. I am hating the dreary light too. It's so hard to take a passable photo of projects.

ReplyDeleteKath, thank you for your lovely comments. Your card is gorgeous, certainly doesn't look as though your inspiration has left on this one! Agree with you completely about the bad light at the moment, it's a nightmare to get a decent picture these days - roll on spring!
