What's On My Workdesk Wednesday...

Hi folks...it's rather chilly out there this morning...the wind's blowing right down from the arctic and to be honest it's cold enough for snow...surely not in the first week of October but hey you never know with our weather...so I'm snuggled up to the radiator with my morning cuppa and popping over to visit Julia and all her lovely crafty buddies at WOYWW.
We've been busy busy in the cubbyhole and had a bit of an indoor snowfall to contend with...snowflakes of the paper variety were flying everywhere in the die cutting frenzy to get the kits ready for the Christmas Papercraft Day at The Papeterie on Sunday...
the kits are ready to be bagged up...another die cutting session comes to an end and thanks to our very own snow plough the one and only indispensable Mr Dyson...the mountain of snowflake debris has gone...
and the box of Sizzix/Hero Arts/Basic Grey worky stuff has arrived so it's time to muster the cubbyhole crew...crank up the Big Shot and get cracking...
but do you think there's a chance that I might manage a sneaky little play with the new kids on the block...
perhaps not...The Furry Boy will soon be making noises about his morning stroll...where did I put those cosy gloves and great big winter warmer muffler of a scarf.
See you all tomorrow

  7. WOW Kath looks like you have a lot of new toys to be playing with! You have been busy getting all those kits together. Weather is cooling off here in Oklahoma also but days are still warm. We had about 1" of rain this past weekend but we are still way down from what we should be this time of year. Have a great week. Vickie #22

  9. And that Tattered Poinsettia is not just for Christmas. Tad chilly down south too so it must be very up north.
    Mind you don't get frostbite.

Looking forward to seeing what you make with that lovely Poinsettia die. I have one sitting here and no time to play with it. Been to two WRI quizzes this week and out again to three different places tomorrow. Why does everything happen at the same time?!!

  17. Oh the weather, it has just been appalling and if it rains any more we'll be floating down the Clyde - I don't think I could take Arctic winds too :( Quick change of subject - from the wee peek the wall-hanging looks terrific and I do like your new goodies ... bet you got to break them out after Buddy's needs were taken care of :) Hope you have a good week, happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #49
