A right old nightmare of a day...

Hi folks...well let me tell you yesterday turned into a right nightmare of a day...my Furry Alarm Clock has been playing silly beggars again waking me up at weird and wonderful silly o'clock times...time for drastic measures...completely ignoring him...not easy when you're in danger of being squashed by a big furry lump and deafened by him jumping on and off the bed to get your attention but I pulled the duvet my head and it worked...woohoo before I knew it was 7.30...a lie in for us normally early risers but on reflection a bit of a mistake on my part...little did I know those extra few hours would've come in handy.
I was totally unaware that Mr Blogger...Mr Broadband and Mr Dell were hatching a plan to send me to the loony bin...why is it that the things that are sent to try us always come in threes.
After getting confirmation of my first Hobbycraft Demo in Glasgow...silly moi for thinking I'd quickly hop online and book my hotel for the Friday night...Mr Dell obviously had other ideas...crikey I think he may well be on his last legs. He scared the living daylights out of me when I booted him up...sounding like a 747 Jumbo Jet powering up it's engines ready for take-off but finally I logged into the hotel website then Mr Google Chrome decided to join the party..after 3 long and frustrating hours of the page freezing...rebooting and goodness knows what else...I had a bed for the night and as if that wasn't enough excitement for one day...I received 2 e-mail confirmations of my booking and it turns out I'd booked 2 separate beds and been charged twice...honestly you couldn't make it up if you tried.
Pardon me for patting myself on the back...chuffed that the first Fiskars Project is in the bag and 3 days ahead of the deadline too...pride comes before a fall as they say and it was dear old awkward Mr Blogger's turn to join in the torture and oh boy did he lead me a right merry dance before kindly allowing me to share some sneaky peeks...

I should be getting on with the step-by-steps today but sod that for a game of soldiers...they'll have to wait until the conspirators decide to behave...I'm off to start kitting for my Kath's Klub classes on Saturday at The Papeterie and yippee...absolutely no technology involved
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Poor you, you have certainly been pushed to the limit with technology. You never give in, do you, and always getthere in the end. Good on you Kath, cuddles to the big lump hope he settles down.

  5. Kath know that feeling of big hairy golden lumps disturbing ones sleep at silly o'clock, mine is the same - but it's the wet nose in the face job here. Plus I thought it was just my broadband and mr google that was playing funny games, I still have a few probs.
Any way your sneak peeks are looking great hopefully today will be a better day for you.

  7. Our internet went down twice on Sunday, so frustrating, we rely on it so much. You seem to get busier and busier, good to have a lie in sometimes and recharge those batteries.

  13. When technology strikes I always think of the carry on film where Kenneth Williams as Caesar says "infamy - infamy - they've all got it in for me!" Hope all is well now. X

  14. Wow Kath, sounds like you had a day and a half of it yesterday. Lovely sneak peeks though.

My day off today and so far I've achieved nothing. Really need to get a DT card made soon but it's nearly 5pm and the furry boys are looking for their afternoon walk. Then I'm out tonight to a Fiona Kennedy concert and tomorrow is the WRI car treasure hunt. Never usually out but never in this week!

Hope today has gone better for you.

    Kat xx

  17. I wish I stayed nearer to you cos I could walk Buddy at silly o'clock since my internal alarm wakes me about 5 every morning at the moment, then I'm asleep on my feet after tea time! Technology's a wonderful thing when it goes right, poor you must have been so frustrating. Sneaky peeks look good though. I've had a lovely day today being pampered because I can now call myself a slightly higher number than I was yesterday.
