Hi folks...it's time to give myself a great big kick up the bum...I've been missing from the cubbyhole for 6 days...3 days away at the workshop in Leeds was great fun but as always once I'm home I find myself missing the buzz and fun company...that old day after the day after syndrome kicked in and I've spent 3 days snuggled up on the sofa...being a lazy slob watching daytime TV trying to pysche myself up to get back in the crafty groove again. Being my own boss and working from home has it's advantages but the cubbyhole can be a bit of a lonely one man band with only The Furry Boy for company existence...he's a good listener but not very chatty. But it's time to gee my ginger...get a grip and get back to the crafty list.
And the dangling carrot incentive is my next trip away in 2 weeks to Stitches...the thought of 4 days hanging out with my lovely Fiskars buddies has definitely done the trick but first I need to make a pile of samples with this little lot of goodies...
loving the new border punches...the Intricate Shape flower and leaf punches and that Honeycomb Everywhere Window Punch...
and finish off my "skidding in by the seat of my pants again" DT card for tomorrow's challenge over at Penny Black Saturday...
in between "drookit rat" doggy strolls...heavens above is this rain ever going to stop.
See you all later
Hugs Kath xxx
Good Morning Kath. Your body must have needed the rest after the escapades of the last week. Batteries charged again and you will be ready for Stitches. I like those punches and I definitely look forward to seeing your creations using them. Have a Good Day. Hugs Rita xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kath a well earned rest! Now pull up your BG Knickers and upwards and onwards!! Susan x
ReplyDeleteWay to go Kath looks like full steam ahead in the cubby hole. Guess what the 7am forecast said....even more wind and rain coming....keep dry and carry on crafting ;0) x

THANKS!
You clearly needed a rest Kath, well done for taking one! I just love that honeycomb shape, I can see you getting a lot of use from that one. Beautiful sneak peek too! Off to a Hel's weekend now but will catch up next week on what I miss. Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, you earned your 3 days on the sofa after being so busy the previous three days. The punches look really great, another 'must have' I would say. Hope you have a less soggy day today. Valxx
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean Kath. It takes ages to get back into the groove. Have a good day ! x
ReplyDeleteGood for you to have a few sofa days...the punches look amazing...Hugs May x x
ReplyDeleteI think the rest probably did you good Kath. I'm having a bit of bother forcing myself to do anything. I've been finding it too easy to sit down and crochet or knit at night!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Kat xx
the punches look fab Kath - hope you stay dry and warm in the cubby hole and put them to good use! Big Hugs rachel x
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, I'm sure these lovely new punches will soon tempt you back into your crafting mode. Dying to see your PB card, they always make me smile, so cute...Trish
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to a couple of sofa days myself this week-end (apart from walking miles with the dog of course). A rest is needed every now and then Kath. Had a very busy day today recording a CD with my choir - something different. And I am not, I repeat NOT, looking at those lovely Fiskars goodies! Have a lovely week-end. X
