Two's Company...
Hi everyone...it's your "home alone in the cubbyhole and missing my Mum" bundle of golden deliciousness popping in to say "Hi"...
well the "home alone" bit isn't strictly true...I've been left in the company of a flock of crazy birds who have been throwing their weight around...trying to sneak their way into my crafty Old Mum's affections and I'm not having it...there's only one blue eyed boy in this establishment and it's ME. Time for a little subtle hint...
a little reminder that I'm the one who'll be snuggled up in OUR cosy bed tonight...I'm the one who's TOP DOG around here...Two's Company and Three is definitely a crowd and the cubbyhole ain't big enough for all of us.
BUT I'm not rocking any boats...all will be well if I bide my time...you and I know that the solution lies with the next happy mail delivery...yes...something else will come along and knock these big headed crazy birds off their crafty perch...nod...nod...wink...wink...know what I'm saying.
And all will definitely be well when I hear those familiar footsteps tonight and tomorrow the cubbyhole duo will be back in business...toodle oo for now.

Don't you worry your lovely head about it Buddy, crazy birds (however cute) will come and go but you are there to stay and you are definitely 'numero uno'! It won't be long 'til Mum is home and giving you a big cuddle... Hugs, Anne xx

You've no worries on the 'who's top of Mum's list' Buddy. Her love for you is obvious and when you give her a fright by being poorly she pours her heart out to us all. Keep that cute chin up mate!
ReplyDeleteDon't you worry, Buddy, you are unique and stole your mom's heart a long time ago and her feelings for her faithful boy will never change. As for those crazy (yet fun) birds, they are flying to all parts of the world, will be loved and fondled for a short while and then end up in a cupboard or drawer, and will only be allowed to get out every once in a while.

ReplyDeleteWow, Buddy. I am so glad to read that I am not the only one who doesn't think much of those weird, not very cute bird stamps!! You and I will just hang together, and wait for your Mum to bring something home that is a little higher on the "cute" scale. Take care of yourself, and I am sending extra hugs and ear scratches.
