Not an easy decision...

Hi Everyone..Spring has definitely arrived...the days are getting longer...the time of year when you begin to notice all the things that need attention...the garden for starters and then the long overdue household jobs that have been piling up and irritating the life out of me...the list of tasks for April seems endless...a bit of "freshen things up" painting and decorating is planned along with a make-over for my "snuggled up with the Furry Boy" TV space and don't get me started on the cubbyhole where a good old clear out and major storage reorganisation is a matter of priority.
I'll also be working on some exciting new crafty adventures over the next few months so I've decided to give up teaching workshops or taking part in The Retreats at The Papeterie. Believe me...it wasn't an easy decision to make and words can't express how grateful I am to all the lovely crafters who have attended my workshops and Kath's Klub over the years...thank you...thank you...thank you from the bottom of my heart for the fun times we've shared together and the wonderful memories...I'm truly going to miss you all.

  1. Don't know why but these lyrics popped into my head reading your post Kath - times they are a changing. Yes I know how you feel my garden needs a lot of work doing on it and I want to change rooms and design more of a studio for working in so I know how you feel. Good luck with all your plans.
    Have a great week.

  4. Morning Kath - I started my re-organising last week, gutted out my large hall cupboard, it was an open the door & throw it in affair!! It now houses a double canvas wardrobe & shoe caddy & all my handbags. Crafting storage is next!! Have a great day. Hugs Ann xxx

Get yourself a good balance and do things that you enjoy.I'm sure you had a blast at your workshops but it's sensible if you feel it's time to hang up that hat. Hugs xx

  13. Oh golly Kath, that must have been one hard decision to make, I know how much those ladies who come to your classes think of you, they will certainly miss you a lot! But I think we must listen to our head at times, rather than our heart and knowing you, you will move on gracefully and other things and new adventures will fill that gap before you know it! I hope you have lots of fun in whatever direction those adventures take you (and I bet you won't miss the kitting one bit - lol). Big hugs, Anne xxx

  19. Hi Kath

So Sorry you won't be at the Papeterie just when I was threatening to fly over one of these fine days. Never mind, a gal's got to do what a gal's got to do. Enjoy every minute, whatever you decide to do, and enjoy Buddy too. Please, please don't give up the Blog, I love dropping in every morning to see what's going on the cubbyhole, and to see all the wonderful pieces you create. One talented lady.

    Best wishes.
