Good things come in small packages...

Hi folks...it's certainly true that good things come in small packages as a BA steward once remarked as he assisted this vertically challenged crafter to get her bag in the overhead locker and never more true than when it refers to one of my favourite collectable products...Mini Layering Stencils...
the original storage solution is becoming a little bit chunky and there's no room at the inn for the new boys...
so time to look out some chipboard and Tim's Alterations Tag & Bookplates Die and make a new home for Sets 20 onwards...
with the Correspondence papers left over from yesterday's "Explore The World" creation...because I'm one of those crafters that has an aversion to filing anything away...
a little bit of stencilling with the Linen stencil from Set 22...some Leafy Prints stamping and decoration with Design Tape and Typed Tokens...they're looking a little lonely in their new home but I'm sure Mr H will be coming up with some new designs shortly to rectify that situation...
and just some simple decoration for the back...
the addition of an acetate cover and some ribbon and they've taken up residence alongside their brothers and sisters...
And it's going to be a play day in the cubbyhole...just can't decide if I've got my Halloween or Christmas head on this morning.

  1. Fabulous idea Kath, love the covers and how you've formed a pocket for the stencils from the original packaging, brilliant as always! Deb xo

  4. Kath, I'm holding my head in shame as I admit the fact that i have NO mini stencils at all!! Now though, I feel that I must start to save up for some if only so that I can make some covers for them. Maybe I'll treat myself to some for Christmas (I've already dropped a hint so heavy it caused a huge pothole, to my sister that I need the Tim Holtz Tonic paper trimmer from her so can't nudge her in the direction of some stencils too lol). I'm still trying to win the postcode lottery so that I can stock up with as many TH goodies I can think of, but until that happens it'll have to wait until I've saved up for the new bed and mattress...don't you hate it when your pennies have to go to buy 'sensible' stuff :)
