Remember Me...

Hi folks...remember me...the serial blogger who used to post every day back in the day...don't quite know how I managed that because lately I've been struggling to get round to twice a week but hey the absolutely crappy "soggy doggy stroll" weather may lend a hand in that department. Seriously I think we can kiss goodbye to Summer now and call me cynical if you will but I'm not holding out any hopes for a September Indian Summer either, in fact I've jumped ahead to Autumn and the cubbyhole crew have got their October spooky Halloween hats on...
having a ball playing with lots of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous red rubber. The Stamp Platform has been working overtime, definitely earning his keep. I would never in the month of Sundays have attempted stamping such a solid image on the textured side of Distress Watercolor card with an acrylic block but with this guy it's an easy peasy "ink twice and stamp" process with a perfect result...
and likewise with these "lots of fine detail" happy smiling faces
And not to be left out...I've also joined the happy smiling face club because Mr Postie came to call with Distress Reinker Set 2...woohoo...
But I need to get a wiggle on...another 2 days of Halloween Red Rubber playtime and I'll be diving in to all things Tim Holtz Christmas because my hot date with Professor Tim, Mario, the King of Kitting and BTS/Master Shipper and Cook Extraordinaire and lots of lovely crafty friends at Art From The Heart is only 4 and a bit weeks away...wohoo if that's not an incentive to get my skates on..I don't know what is...
Toodle-oo for now

  1. Hi Kath xx Looks like you are having a fun time with your new stash and I love what I am seeing xx I am sure you will have the most fabulous time at Art from The Heart with Tim and Mario x It's a fabulous shop with lots of Ranger goodies and you can always take a trip to Betty's Tearoom. Sadly I can't make that weekend, which is a shame as it would have been great to catch up. Give Anne a big hug from me when you see her and have the most wonderful time xx

Enjoy your playtime in your gorgeous craft room and its also raining here too !!! In fact we had the most horrendous thunderstorm and lightning last night..... suits me fine as I am in the middle of thoroughly cleaning my craft room !!!! Though it is one of those jobs you wish you had never started.....then thrilled when its done and its amazing what you find !!!!

    Sending my best wishes
    Annie xx

  2. Morning Kath, it sure looks like you are putting the platform through its paces. Envious of the gorgeous new stamps and reinkers! I wait in anticipation to see what you create. The weather here in Warrington is awful too, it is more like winter than summer! So happy I am off on my holiday soon :) Have a wonderful day.

  4. Your spooky stampings have really got my interest up, I am looking forward to seeing what you create! And looking forward to your Christmas makes too!

No consolation but our weather is pretty rubbish too, although I am still holding out hope for an Indian Summer - fingers crossed! Hugs, Anne xx

  5. Weather is so hit & miss down in this neck of the woods that I would happily hibernate so that I could miss it.

That is some stack of red rubber to work your way through - have fun.

  6. Kath,
The stamping platform really does make everything easier, doesn't it? Don't worry about how often you post on your blog. We look forward to your postings whenever they happen.

I'm sorry your weather is crummy at this time. In the Southeast US we're still hitting 90 degrees each day, but it is gradually getting a little cooler at night. At least the clouds stayed away for the eclipse.

I'm sure you will have a great time with Tim and Mario. I am so jealous. I hope one of these days I can run into them wherever they are.

    Take care,
    Lucy
