Mrs McWitch Is Off To A Party

Hi folks, today I'm sharing a project made with some of the new Halloween 2018 Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous and Idea-ology goodies and some of my favourite Tim Holtz/Sizzix Halloween Thinlits from last year. Mrs McWitch is all dressed up in her party finery and off to visit the spooky folks who live in the Haunted House but the question is....does she have an invitation?
I trimmed Distress Mixed Media Heavystock to measure 7" x 9" and used Black Soot and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide inks to colour the background with the smooshing, dragging, drying, spritzing and tapping into the left over ink technique that I'm sure you are all familiar with by now. I stamped the branch from Mr Bones with Black Soot Archival (I love this image) and die cut the Haunted House from the plank paper from the new Idea-ology Halloween Paper Pad. I applied Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to the die cut using a mini round blending tool, sanded the areas around the windows with the Distress Sanding Grip to create highlights and fixed in place with black Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam to create dimension.

I stamped the Craze background stamp from Craze and Planks inked with Ripe Persimmon randomly on the background and the web image from Tangled Webs inked with Black Soot Distress Oxide. I die cut a circle using Sizzix Circle Framelits and placed white card behind coloured with Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxides.
I die cut the witch and cat from Idea-ology black Classic Kraftstock and sanded back to the reveal the kraft core using Sizzix Witchcraft Thinlits. I die cut the witch again from the gorgeous Idea-ology Halloween Worn Wallpaper coloured with Ripe Persimmon, sanded back and paper pieced her scarf and dress.
I die cut the gate from black Classic Kraftstock and the tombstones from white card coloured with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink using Sizzix Village Graveyard Thinlits and added Idea-ology Halloween Clippings Stickers to the tombstones.
I spritzed Idea-ology Mummy Cloth with Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and fixed to the bottom of the panel using dots of Distress CollageMedium Matte.

and added Idea-ology Halloween Clippings Stickers
I trimmed a panel of white card to measure 7.1/2 x 9.1.2", fixed Idea-ology Halloween Design Tape around the edge and added the decorated panel. I then trimmed another panel of white card to measure 8" x 10", coloured around the edge with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to use as a base for my spooky witch home decor project.
I'll be back soon to share more projects with Tim's new products, in the meantime, have fun and happy crafting.
Hugs Kath xxx
