Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Pressed Foliage Notecards

Hi folks, I'm sharing a notecard and envelope I made for the Facebook Live Launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween Collection of stamps and stencils using the beautiful Pressed Foliage stamps. If you missed the live launch, you can check it out all the new goodies and loads of inspiration from amazingly talented designers on Tim's blog HERE.

This is definitely one of those versatile stamp sets that can be used all year round for lots of different occasions...
I decided to make a set of notecards and envelopes using different colour palettes and all the leaf images from the stamp set. I sent one set to Tim and the others will make up a box of cards for my local charities. I began by trimming Distress Watercolor card to create 7 panels measuring 3" x 4.1/4" for the cards and 4.1/4" x 5.1/2" for the envelopes. I masked off the edges of the panels and coloured with Distress Oxide inks using the watercolor smooshing technique.

I inked the leaf images with Black Soot Distress Archival and stamped on to the panels.
fixed to A2 kraft cards and added idea-ology Small Talk Stickers
It's Friday, the end of the week and what a week it's been. The technology gremlins decided it was my turn for a bit of torture, playing silly beggars with any attempt to schedule blog posts but the good news is, Mr Mojo has decided to put in an appearance again and finally, I seem to be getting back into the swing of things again. Have a great weekend whatever you planned and I'll see you on Monday to share my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. In the meantime, here's a little sneaky peek.
Toodle-oo for now
