I began by trimming Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock to 4.1/2" x 6.1/2", smooshed Lucky Clover, Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks on to my Glass Media Mat and dragged the card through the inks, spritzed with water, tapped back into the ink droplets and dried. I applied Distress Texture Paste through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Digits Layering Stencil sprinkled on Rusty Hinge and Peeled Paint Distress Embossing Glazes, did the finger tapping little dance on the back of the card to mix the powders and heat set. I inked the grid image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Glitch 1 with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink and stamped randomly on the background. I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Happy Hour Thinlits to create the pint of Guinness, die-cut the pieces from Distress Watercolor card, Ideaology BlackOut KraftStock and acetate. I coloured the glass base section with Ground Espresso and edged the frothy die-cuts with Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks using a mini round blending tool.
I fixed the glass in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Distinguished with Black Soot Distress Archival ink. To create the shamrocks, I coloured Distress Watercolor card with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink, die-cut using Falling Hearts Thinlits and fixed to the hat and glass using Distress Collage Medium Matte. I trimmed Tim Holtz Idea-ology Type Chips in half, sanded and fixed in place with Mini Foam Adhesive. I inked the script image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Faded Type with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and stamped randomly on the background, added splatters of Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and Idea-ology Numbers Remnant Rubs.
To finish I added Idea-ology Hex Fasteners to the shamrocks and matted the panel on to a 5" x 7" white card blank, covered with Idea-ology BlackOut KraftStock, sanded back to reveal the kraft core.
Toodle-oo for now
