Simon Says Stamp - Hello Friend

Hi my friends, today I'm sharing a card I made with the Leaves Stencils that Simon Says sent me from their latest Lucky To Know You release, a sentiment from the Stronger Together stamp set from the March Card Kit and Ornate Alphabet to die-cut the big Hello.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4.1/4" x 5.1/2" and stamped the leaf image from Stronger Together with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink.

I placed one of the stencils from the set of 4 Leaves Stencils on the card, applied Versamark ink using a mini round blending tool, sprinkled with Ranger White Superfine Embossing Powder and heat set.

I smooshed Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks on to my Glass Media Mat, spritzed with water, pulled the card through the inks, dried and tapped the card back into the inks to pick up the remaining droplets.

I used Simon Says Stamp Ornate Alphabet to die-cut the word Hello.

I fixed the panel to an A2 side folding white card blank, die-cut Hello 3 times from white card and pieced back into the negative spaces.

I fixed the original die-cut letters in place with Distress Collage Medium to create a dimensional sentiment.

I inked the sentiment from Stronger Together with Simon Says Intense Black ink, stamped on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, trimmed to leave a white border and fixed to the card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
