You Are Invited

Hi my friends, I've been having fun making Halloween Party invitations and place name cards using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Trick or Treater, Spider Web and Alphanumeric Shadow Lower Thinlits. Trick or Treating will probably be cancelled this year so why not host a family "socially distanced" outdoor party, ducking for apples and toasting marshmallows around a campfire.

I began by fixing Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to the back of scraps of Idea-ology Classic KraftStock, die-cut all the pieces necessary for each character and laid them out ready to assemble. Easy peasy to create using the picture on the packaging as a reference.
I trimmed Idea-ology BlackOut KraftStock to create 3.3/4" x 5.3/4 card panels and 2.1/4" x 4.3/4" place card panels. I die-cut the Tim holtz/Sizzix Spider Web Thinlits from masking paper and fixed to the panels. I used Picket Fence Distress Ink and a mini round blending tool to add ink to the panels and used a soft cloth to blend the ink and buff off any excess. I removed the mask and dried with my heat tool. I smooshed the Picket Fence Distress ink pad on to my glass media mat, spritzed with water and added splatters to each panel.
I fixed the panels to white card blanks 4" x 6" and 2.1/2 x 5" and added the characters popped up on Sizzix Foam Adhesive to create dimension. I die-cut the letters from the remaining Classic KraftStock scraps using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Lower Thinlits. I die-cut pumpkins for each card and finished off the sentiment with Alphanumeric Label Letter Thinlits die-cut from Distress Watercolor card.

I'll be back soon to share more makes using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Halloween and Christmas release. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you are making.
Hugs Kath xxx
