Simon Says - Red/White and or Blue

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

RED WHITE AND OR BLUE

I created a 4th of July collage card using Simon Says EZ Everyday Strips stamp set, EZ Strips Rectangles Wafer die, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Palette Ephemera, Sizzix Vault Sideorder Floristry, Falling Stars Thinlits and Simon Says Sign Painter Numbers die.

I trimmed Simon Says Lipstick Red cardstock to 4.1/2" x 5.3/4", fixed a panel from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Palette Ephemera in place and used the left over die-cut from Simon Says EZ Strips Rectangles cut from Distress Watercolor card as a frame. I applied adhesive to the edges of the frame only.

I tucked various bits and pieces from the Palette Ephemera pack into the apertures and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I stamped the sentiments from Simon Says EZ Everyday Strips stamp set on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder, heat set and die-cut with the EZ Strips Rectangles die.

I fixed the sentiments back into the corresponding apertures on the frame, popped up with Simon Says 3D foam strips. I inked an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink, spritzed with water and fixed some of the strips back into the apertures.

I die-cut the flowers and foliage from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault SideOrder Floristry, coloured the flower centres with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink using a Simon Says Detail Round Blending Brush.

I added the flowers to the panel popped up on Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares and stars die-cut from Simon Says Lipstick Red cardsdtock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Falling Stars Thinlits.

To finish I die-cut "4" from Lipstick Red cardstock using Simon Says Sign Painter Wafer dies, fixed to the panel with 3D Thin Foam Squares and matted the panel on to a white card blank.
