Simon Says - Beautiful Blooms

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS

I created a card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter 3D Texture Fade, Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop stamp set, Simon Says Stamp Curiosity Shop co-ordinating dies and Simon Says Stamp Divine Peony and Cosmos Duo dies for the blooms.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4" and created a light neutral background using Salvaged Patina and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks.

I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter 3D Texture Fade to emboss the background. This is the original Texture Fade which is now discontinued but the Large A5 Texture Fade (linked below) would work too. I dragged the Frayed Burlap over the panel to accent the embossed detail and inked around the edges using a Mini Round blending Tool.

I stamped the typewriter and labels from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop on to Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, coloured the labels with Saltwater Taffy and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks using a Detailer Waterbrush and die-cut using Simon Says Stamp Curiosity Shop co-ordinating dies.

I stamped the script and postmark images from Simon Says Stamp Vintage Love Notes, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, shaded the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink and tucked the labels into the slot on the typewriter created by the die. 

I die-cut the blooms from Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock using Simon Says Stamp Cosmos Duo and Divine Peony wafer dies and coloured with Saltwater Taffy, Salvaged Patina and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks using Distress Tiny Blending Tools.

I fixed all the die-cut elements to the panel using Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares, matted the panel on to Distress Kraft HeavyStock and fixed to an A2 white card blank.

I added splatters using Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter Medium, stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp EZ Strips Everyday on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I die-cut using Simon Says Stamp EZ Strips Rectangles die and fixed to the panel popped up on Thin 3D Foam Squares.
