Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because
and the theme for this week is...
EMBOSS IT
I used Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies Embossing Folder to create the background, Sizzix Studio Wild Blooms Clear Stamp Set coloured with Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Embossing Glazes, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Handwritten Love Thinlits and Idea-ology Sentiment Label Stickers for the sentiment.
I trimmed Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to 4" x 5.1/4" embossed using Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies Embossing Folder. I dragged the Versafine Clair Nocturne ink pad over the embossed detail and around the edges of the panel.
I stamped the flower, leaf and butterfly from the Wild Blooms Clear stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I scribbled randomly over the flower petals and butterfly wings with an Embossing Pen, sprinkled with the Distress Embossing Glazes, tapped from behind to mix the powders, heat set and fussy cut.
I fixed the flowers, leaf and butterfly in place popped up on Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares to create dimension.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Handwritten Love Thinlits 3 times from Distress Watercolor cardstock, layered to create dimension and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium.
I added a Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Sentiments Label Sticker to complete the sentiment and matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.
