Simon Says - A Bit O' Green

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

A BIT O' GREEN

I created a St Patrick's Day card using Simon Says Stamp Falling Shamrocks Stencil, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Professor and Curiosity Shop stamp sets and Simon Says Stamp The Professor Suite and Curiosity Shop co-ordinating dies and added a pint of Guinness using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Happy Hour Thinlits.

I began by colouring an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card using Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks and a Distress Sprayer.

I fixed the panel to Simon Says Stamp Black Stamp and Stencil Mat and inked through Simon Says Stamp Falling Shamrocks Stencil with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink using a Mini Round Blending Tool.

I stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Professor and Curiosity Shop inked with Rustic Wilderness and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks and used the Detailer Waterbrush to pull the ink over the entire image. With the stamps still in place on the lid of my stamp platform, I re-stamped each image, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival to re-define the details.

I die-cut the beer glass from Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate cardstock and Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Happy Hour Thinlits, coloured the foam lightly with Antique Linen and Ground Espresso Distress Oxides using Tiny Blending Tools, assembled and fixed to the panel using Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares.

I die-cut The Professor and Curiosity Shop images with the co-ordinating dies, trimmed out the individual numbers from the die-cut number border and arranged on the panel, fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares and added an Idea-ology Theories Quote Chip.

I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.1/4", added splatters of Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink, matted on to an A2 panel of Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate cardstock and fixed to an A2 white card blank.
