Vive La Difference...

Hi folks...it's TUESDAY and TIME to share a TAG...an alliteration introduction to today's post...I'm feeling a little giddy at the thought that I'm sharing my TAG for "12 Tags of 2015" with a week and a bit to spare...

this month's theme is all about the RED WHITE AND BLUE and the 4th of July...Independence Day in the USA. Hang on to your galluses...here comes the "adapt and overcome" moment...I don't have those particular Blueprint Stamps so I went with Vive La Difference and a French theme...celebrating Bastille Day on the 14th July...

and as for my "Leaning Tower of Pisa" Eiffel Tower...don't even go there...

The grandkiddos are arriving today for a sleep over so I need to put my thinking cap on and come up with some rainy day activities just in case...perhaps they might like to join the Fiskars cubbyhole kitting team...many hands make light work.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

Hi folks...well the weekend was a bit of a washout weatherwise but there's no point in getting in a tail spin about it...it's Monday Morning and the start of a brand new week. So when life gives you lemons...make some lemonade or in my case...head for the cubbyhole...make a little bit of art to share with you all and voila...one more July DT project for Inspiration Emporium is ticked off the list...

I've stayed with this month's Sticky Back Canvas theme and my new favourite Distress colour...Tattered Rose...not a colour I've used a lot before but hey it's the most gorgeous peachy salmony pink...

with a little bit of an art journalling twist...just for fun...love these gorgeous Dylusions Word Love stamps and it's confession time...I couldn't be fussed mucking about with masks to stamp the stems so I took the cheat's way out and just drew them in with a black fine liner pen...I won't tell if you don't...

Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge - July

Hi folks..here we are...more than halfway through the month of July and still waiting for summer proper to arrive in my neck of the woods but it's the third Sunday of the month and that means it's time for another Colour Challenge over at The Ribbon Girls and the colour chosen is...

Wet...Wet...Wet...

Hi folks...Wet...Wet...Wet...brings back memories of the gorgeous Marti Pellow and smooching on the dance floor to "Love Is All Around" but sadly this is all about "the weather" and there sure ain't a lot of love around in that department at the moment...someone's turned on that tap and forgotten to turn it off again...it's not just WET...it's been a flipping monsoon out there...

and drookit early morning doggy strolls are not a great start to anyone's day...

But in the words of Yoda...The Weather...Control Over...We Have Not...so it's time to snuggle up in the cubbyhole and try out the new Distress Micro Glaze on this month's tag...

Hi folks...where does the week go...blink and it's Friday again...the cubbyhole crew have been keeping the postal service in business this week with happy mail deliveries...

the monthly "stocking up the doggy food larder" delivery for the Furry Boy...

and right on time...Blueprint Sketch has arrived to join the cubbyhole's Distress Family...

with the usual Friday Girls Adventure on hold this week...I may as well hit the cubbyhole for a "12 Tags of 2015" fun day...

Playing Catch Up...

Hi folks...I've been playing catch up with my Inspiration Emporium DT goodies and just like the proverbial bus...you don't see one for ages and then 2 come along at once...it's time to share Project 2 for July...a Travel themed canvas...

Sticky Back Canvas is a great surface for colouring with Distress Spray Stains and takes stamping really well...giving a bit of "touchy feely" texture to the project...

and the Mini Tattered Florals are so easy and fun to make with the quilling tool that's included with the dies...

I'm on a crafty roll...so must dash before Mr Mojo disappears again...
