Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp - Leaf Prints 2

Hello my friends, I'm back to share a card and gift card holder using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Leaf Prints 2 and Tiny Text stamp sets and the co-ordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp. Everyone needs a set of leaf stamps in their stash, they are perfect for all occasion cards, making backgrounds, creating a statement focal image and great for cards for the men in your life. You can check out all the co-ordinating dies from the new release HERE.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to trimmed to 4" x 5.1/4", created a neutral background using Speckled Egg and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the large leaf image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Leaf Prints 2, inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and shaded the edges using a Mini Round Blending Tool.

I added torn strips of Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Halloween Collage Paper using Distress Collage Medium and a Distress Collage Brush and added splatters of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter Medium.

I stamped Leaf Prints 2 images on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut using Simon Says Stamp Leaf Prints 2 co-ordinating dies. I fixed the small leafs and Idea-ology Mummy Cloth in place using Distress Collage Medium.

I fixed the larger leaf in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares and added a White Hemp Twine Bow.

I added Gina K Gold Mini Pearls Mix and set aside to finish later.

I die-cut the gift card holder from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Specimen Thinlits. I inked the Leaf Prints 2 images with Versamark ink, stamped randomly over the background, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I coloured with the Speckled Egg and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks and wiped any excess off the embossed leaves with a clean cloth.

As before, I added torn strips of Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Halloween Collage Paper and Idea-ology Mummy Cloth.

I added two of the leaf images stamped on to Distress Black HeavyStock and one die-cut from the left over Gift Card Holder card, fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.

I stamped the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text, inked with Versamark on to Distress Black HeavyStock, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut with Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text co-ordinating dies. The Tiny Text dies can be used with the Tiny Text, Tiny Text Halloween and Tiny Text Christmas stamp sets, a must have if you already have these stamps in your stash.

To finish I matted the card panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock trimmed 1/8" larger and matted on to an A2 White Card Blank. I die-cut the gift card holder hole reinforcers from Distress Black HeavyStock, added White Hemp Twine as a closure and fixed in place with 3D foam squares.
