Simon Says - Lots Of Layers

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

LOTS OF LAYERS

I created a Thank You card and added lots of layers of dimension using Simon Says Stamp Flower Medley Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies, leaves die-cut using Divine Peony and Swirly Thank You and EZ Strips Everyday stamps and die for the sentiments.

I trimmed Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to 3.3/4" x 5", embossed using Simon Says Stamp Flower Medley Embossing Folder and dragged Simon Says Stamp White Pigment ink pad over the raised area. I inked around the edge of the panel with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool.

I die-cut Simon Says Stamp Swirled Thank You shadow from Vellum and wording from Distress Watercolor card and fixed to the panel with dots of adhesive behind the word.

I die-cut the dies that come with the Flower Medley Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp Lemon Chiffon and Lavender cardstock, shaded the centres with Wild Honey and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks using Detail Round Blending Brush. I embossed the die-cuts by placing them back into the folder and inked the edges lightly with Scorched Timber.

I die-cut the leaves from Simon Says Stamp Green Apple cardstock and managed to tuck them in behind the Swirled Thank You. I fixed the flowers in place with Distress Collage Medium and Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.

I added splatters of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter Medium. I stamped the sentiment from EZ Strips Everyday on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut using the EZ Strips Everyday die.  I fixed the sentiment in place popped up using Foam Strips.

To finish I matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.
