Simon Says - Get In Shape

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

GET IN SHAPE

I chose circles as my shape and used Simon Says Stamp Circle Frames dies, Lots of Dots and Long Stem Florals stamp sets, Long Stem Florals co-ordinating dies, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Splotches Mini Layering Stencil from Set 9 and Note Quotes to create funky floral cards.

I die-cut circles from Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Stamp Circle Frames die, coloured with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and stamp the floral images from Simon Says Stamp Long Stem Florals inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

I applied Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide inks through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Splotches Mini Laayering Stencil using Mini Round Blending Tools.

I stamped the floral images from Long Stem Florals and the sentiment circles from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Note Quotes on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.

I fixed the die-cut circles to 4.1/2" square card blanks, stamped Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and added Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter Medium. I coloured the florals, dots and sentiment circles with Distress Watercolor Pencils (colours linked below) using a Detailer Waterbrush, die-cut using the Long Stem Florals co-ordinating dies and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.
